I know. I totally agree, and know what you're talking about. Every sort of statement like that pisses me off really bad.

They're like, this person does this well, they must've been born with it. They were just lucky and did absolutely nothing by themselves to accomplish it. :\

I find that allot of people tend to try and blame others for there inability to do things, they tend to think that theres some sort of quick and easy secret to learning art, and simply want others to tell them the secret so they don't have to take responsibility and find it for themselves. people always seem to look at me as if I'm lying to them when I tell them the secret to drawing well.

the one and only secret to drawing better is drawing. every second you waist looking for the easy way to get good at art, and badgering others to get them to make tutorials for you, is another second you could have spent drawing a picture and improving yourself.

it also annoys me when people say things like "I wish I was had your talent" or the like. they seem to think that I was born able to draw well. if thats so then what have I spend 3-6 hours a day everyday drawing for? skill at art comes from dedication and putting your feelings and inner thoughts into your art.

oops sorry for the rant >.<; I tend to get into these kind of conversations too easily, and lose myself.

She goes, "mkay, here's the paint and stuff, draw whatever you want..."
ANd so.. yeah. <3
She teaches you the basics of shading though, like how to shade basic shapes, etc.

I don't take classes simply because I feel that if I don't learn it on my own than the skills arent trully mine. also, I'm cheap and they cost money. ; P
